This was to fulfill what was spoken through Yeshayah the Prophet: "THE LAND OF ZEVULUN AND THE LAND OF NAFTALI, BY THE WAY OF THE SEA, BEYOND THE YARDEN, GALIL OF THE NATIONS— THE PEOPLE WHO WERE WALKING IN DARKNESS SAW A GREAT LIGHT, AND THOSE DWELLING IN THE LAND AND SHADOW OF DEATH, UPON THEM A LIGHT DAWNED."
From that time the Rabbi began to preach and say, "Repent, for the Malchut Shamayim [Kingdom of Heaven] is on the brink of arrival."
